Ο NGC 710 είναι σπειροειδής γαλαξίας ο οποίος απέχει 260 εκατομμύρια έτη φωτός[2] και βρίσκεται στον αστερισμό Ανδρομέδα. Ανακαλύφθηκε από τον αστρονόμο Bindon Stoney στις 28 Οκτωβρίου 1850[3][4] και ανήκει στο σμήνος γαλαξιών Abell 262.[5][6][7][8][9] Πρόκειται επίσης για ραδιογαλαξία.[10][11][12][13]

Υπερκαινοφανής[Επεξεργασία | επεξεργασία κώδικα]

Στις 20 Αυγούστου 2002 ανακαλύφθηκε στον γαλαξία αυτόν υπερκανοφανής τύπου II που ονομάστηκε SN 2002eo.[14][15][16]
